Subject: Don Zipf
Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness that I report to you the passing away of Don Zipf sometime the evening of November 30, 2007. Don was a dear friend and neighbor to me and my wife. The cause of death seems to be a result of his type 2 diabetes, but we await the Coroners findings. This is standard practice as Don was only 47 years of age. As of this moment no funeral plans exist but I will keep all informed as they develop. Don was survived by his mother Wilma, two sisters Andrea and Suzanne (forgive me if I got that wrong) and his step mother Carolyn. I will miss his eloquent argumentative style, his wide knowledge across numerous subjects including music and entertainment, his skill as a musician and in recording and most of all his friendship. So light a candle, smoke a cigar and enjoy your favorite libation as Don would have us live life to the fullest and enjoy and savor all of the moments that create its fabric. On this new journey he enters alone. May the universe receive him in grace.
Please forward this to anyone you know that knew Don and I ask that anyone not on this original distribution reply to me so I can add your address to the list.
Also, since I am unfamiliar with whom all the names on this list belong, please let me know who you are.
His sister Andrea is handling the arrangements. It may take some time to get to this point so please be patient.
Here is his website for those who wish to reminisce.
