The British jazz-funk band Level 42 will play this friday april 30th in muziekcentrum Vredenburg in Utrecht. At the moment the album "Early Tapes" is not doing too bad for the band. The band has already made a name for itself, especially "live". The single "Love Games", "Turn it on" and others sound almost as good as the record. Eventhough you can't possibly compare the live concert vibe with a recording. The foundation of Level 42 goes back to 1972 when brothers Phil and Boon Gould played in the same band. Mark King and Mike Lindup joined up with the duo and the first single was released around 1980. Their big break came with the single "Love Games". In England the single was number 1 in no time. Last year the band toured with none other than The Police. They also played a show in Holland that appealed to many music lovers. Fridaynight you'll be able to see the excitement again "live".
